OBS HypeRate is a free, native OBS Studio plugin that turns a real heart rate into on-stream effects. Drop any graphic into OBS, add the Heartbeat filter, and it pulses, beats and bounces in sync with a live BPM — alongside a heart-rate BPM display, a synthesized heartbeat sound, and pulse-triggered actions like scene switches and source toggles.

It is written in C++ and renders directly inside OBS: no browser sources, no external automation tools, and no extra latency. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, and is open source.

OBS HypeRate is built and maintained by HypeRate, a live heart-rate platform for streamers and creators. HypeRate reads a heart rate from a wearable and shares it in real time through a simple HypeRate ID, working with Apple Watch, Wear OS, Garmin, Polar and ANT+/BLE chest straps.
